TANZANIA

In Tanzania 60% of the population is without electricity and 40% doesn't have access to drinkable water. There is a shortage of 110.000 teachers in all of the country and this paralyses its development. The Salvatorian Fathers and Brothers work in the poorest parts of the country – the centre and the south – where several schools, a University and three dispensaries are managed.

Project 1: Expansion of Jordan University College

Jordan University is the pride of all the Salvatorian projects. Originating from a theological institute, it was transformed in a few years into a centre of excellent training in various disciplines such as: teaching, economics and management.

The number of enrolled grew in a few years to several thousand young people who come from different African countries and who will soon be able to bring new skills to Africa.
