The children of the Parola slum in Manila are born, often in broken families, and grow up in landfills, where they sniff glue and sleep in the sewers, where sexual abuse and crime are rife. To study and build a future is almost impossible for them.
To help these children, we are providing an innovative project of alternative education right inside the slum: a large container that hosts 25 people at a time, an educational programme that prepares them for a high school diploma equivalent. The programme is called "ALSA BUHAY".
Currently 196 children are benefiting from this project, but with your help we can multiply the number.
Every euro donated equals one day of school for a child.
